The group floor display is a celebrated performance style in Ireland, offering athletes the chance to develop their stage presence, timing, and musicality while working as part of a team.
What to Expect in Class
Each session begins with a dynamic warm-up tailored for both dance and gymnastics, ensuring participants are ready for a mix of strength, flexibility, and performance training. Students then work on dance techniques adapted specifically for gymnastics, improving posture, fluidity, and coordination.
The highlight of each class is the creation of original group routines. We explore a variety of themes and styles, teaching athletes how to tell a story through movement and enhance their ability to perform to an audience.
Performance Opportunities
Members of The Floor Squad will have the chance to showcase their routines at events throughout the year, including Gymnastics Ireland’s renowned The Floor and other club exhibitions. These performances not only celebrate the students’ hard work but also help develop confidence and performance skills that will last a lifetime.
