Trojan Gymnastic & Dance Academy
Established in 2010, Trojan Gymnastics & Dance Academy has built up a respected reputation over the years for providing exceptional gymnastics and dance classes for children and adults.
Catering for children age 2 years and upwards as well as adults, our classes are geared to all abilities, so whether you’re new to gymnastics and dance, or have dabbled in it before, you’ll find our sessions enjoyable and fun, providing a fantastic way to keep fit.
By adding to our evolving program of classes over the years to meet popular demand, we offer something for everyone. This enables boys and girls to learn a huge range of new skills, both physical and emotional, as well as make new friends in a relaxed, friendly and caring setting.
Since day one, we’ve been registered members of Gymnastic Ireland, and all of our coaches have undertaken Gymnastic Ireland training. As well as boasting highly professional credentials, our coaches are fully Garda vetted and have attended child safeguarding courses for your peace of mind.
Our Team
Louise
Our head coach and owner, Louise, has over 37 years of gymnastics experience and has won regional and national titles as part of the Irish National team. Louise is a qualified Level 3 Coach and has coached in Australia, South Africa and the UK. She is passionate about the benefits of gymnastics and is equally enthusiastic about a child who learns to tumble for the first time as she is for a gymnast selected for the national team.
Ailish
Skye
Skye began gymnastics at the age of 5, continuing for 5 years before taking a break to try other sports. She always retained a keen interest in gymnastics and began her coaching career at the age of 16. Skye has since qualified as a Level 1 coach and adores seeing children grow in confidence and independence.
Taylor
Taylor started gymnastics at 8 years old, competing at regional, national, and international competitions and representing Trojan and Ireland with the National Squad. At age 17 she retired from competing and began coaching. Recently qualified as a regional gymnastics judge, Taylor loves helping children develop the same passion for gymnastics that she had from a young age.
Paige
Paige started gymnastics at age 6 and has competed in regional and national competitions. She first started gymnastics coaching during a work experience placement, and 4 years on has developed a passion for helping children of all abilities learn and grow. Paige is currently working towards her Level 1 Coaching Award.
Alanna
Alanna began Ballet and Modern training at age 3 at the Louise Burton School of Dance, going on to attend the Dublin Dance School and Trojan Gymnastics Academy. Alanna has completed all RAD and ISTD exams with distinction and hopes to pursue a career in dancing. She is currently working towards her Gymstart & Level 0 Coaching Awards.
